SERVICE INTERVALS & OPERATIONAL NOTES
- Tires: Front 120/70ZR17 M/C (58W), Rear 180/55ZR17 M/C (73W). Always gauge pressures prior to rollout when rubber is dead-cold.
- Oil & Filter: Use YAMALUBE 10W-40 full synthetic (JASO MA2). Inspect and lubricate the new O-ring seal with fresh oil prior to torquing cartridge.
- Drive Chain: Measure slack with the motorcycle resting on its side stand at the tightest point along the swingarm run. Lubricate every 800 km or after wet runs.
- Spark Plugs: Pull, inspect, and verify electrode gap (0.8–0.9 mm) every 10,000 km (6,000 miles).
- Chassis Setup: Pump the front forks firmly with the axle nut snug before torquing the M8 pinch bolt to 23 Nm to guarantee spindle alignment.
- Brake Calipers: Inspect caliper mounting thread conditions and verify thread-lock integrity whenever calipers are dismounted for tire swaps.
